Get the Look

When it comes to matching people and property, we’re quietly confident that we know a thing or two. And although we may have been doing this for over 160 years, at Marsh & Parsons, we’re not ones to shy away from a challenge.

That’s why we’ve taken three of our favourite characters from our latest award-winning Matching People and Property campaign and channeled their traits and quirks to recreate the ideal home interiors for them, which could quite possibly, be our most successful match to date.

If you’re a fan of the looks, we’ll be sharing our recommendations to help recreate the styles in your own home, including items from some of our favourite homeware brands. Geraldine Tan, founder and editor of award-winning design and interiors blog, Little Big Bell, will be providing her advice on the best styling methods to achieve each look effortlessly in any living space, including her own version of the rooms which you’ll be able to browse on her blog.

The 80s Look

If you’re keen to know more about the interiors we’ll be featuring, here’s a preview of our first theme, inspired by the unapologetic 80s, channeling this unforgettable era where retro block prints meet bold patterns, all without an avocado bathroom or plush carpet in sight.

It’s time to tease the golden decade into the 21st century with our feature on how to ‘get the look’.

The Nursery Look

Following the whirlwind of colour from our journey back to the 80s, we don’t know about you but we think now is the perfect time to introduce our next trend; the nursery look.

Featuring gentle pastels complemented with soft furnishings including cushions, rugs and plush toys to accessorise, we’re inviting neutral styles to bring a calming, serene atmosphere to any home nursery.

So if you’ve got a new addition on the horizon, head over to our latest post including hints and tips from interior design specialist, Geraldine Tan on how simple it can be to get the nursery look.

The Regency Look

From the retro boldness of the 80s to a calming modern nursery, where could our final instalment of this Get the Look campaign possibly take us next?

Have your pipe and finest garments at the ready, we’re going back to the 1800s.

Drawing on dramatic Gothic design, our latest blog post on the Regency look is as grand as it is graceful. Featuring the finest bed linen and finely decorated furniture that’s sure to make a statement, this look is perfect for anyone looking to add a touch of finery to their home interiors.
