How does a short-term, or short-let tenancy differ from a standard long-let tenancy?
There are several key differences in the process of securing a short-let tenancy agreement compared to a normal longer-term tenancy agreement:
- A short-let tenancy is for a term of between four weeks and up to 6 months
- Importantly, all monies must be paid in full and in advance, including a 4 week deposit
- Normally, utility bills are included in the rental amount, with the exception of telephone and broadband fees, payment of which will be detailed in your tenancy agreement
- Please ask your negotiator for any further information
How do you find a short-term rental property in London?
When you register with Marsh & Parsons, the process of finding a short-term rental property is the same as any normal rental process, except you’ll be assigned a specialist account manager through our Corporate & Relocation Services department to guide you through the process. They’ll find out your exact requirements and provide you with detailed advice on budget, location and any other variables that will help you to make the best decision, all before you land at Heathrow.
