Our top properties along the Elizabeth Line

The Elizabeth Line was unveiled on May 24th after years of anticipation, making our city more connected than ever before. Here is a selection of our best properties for sale along London’s newest tube stops.

Acton Main Line

Our first stop is Acton. One of West London’s best kept secrets, people head to Acton for its lively community, transport links and an abundance of green space including Acton and Gunnersbury parks. Properties are spacious and excellent value for money, too.

With the introduction of Acton Main Line station, residents can expect to reach Central London in as little as nine minutes and Canary Wharf in 26 minutes, bringing much needed connectivity to the up-and-coming area.

Twyford Avenue, W3

This stunning family home in Acton has been beautifully decorated throughout. The property is laid out over three floors and offers fantastic living space, including a full-width kitchen/reception room with bi-folding doors leading to the rear garden. To the front, there is parking for multiple vehicles via a paved driveway. Twyford Avenue is moments from the wide array of shops and restaurants Acton has to offer.

If you are thinking about buying or selling in Acton, contact our Askew Road & Acton office for more information.

Paddington

Travelling into Central London we reach Paddington, where The Queen unveiled the completed Elizabeth Line last week. Located between Notting Hill and the West End, Paddington is famed for its iconic station and a certain marmalade-loving bear.

Property in Paddington ranges from definitive Georgian architecture to more modern builds along the Paddington Basin towards Little Venice. Residents of Paddington enjoy its convenient location while being able to find escape in nearby green and public spaces, with the canal and Kensington Gardens moments away.

Regeneration is already under way and the new Paddington Square development is set to completely revive the area. With the introduction of Crossrail, Paddington further solidifies itself as a major transport hub for those travelling across London or further afield.

Cabbel Street, NW1

Bordering Paddington on Edgware Road is this five bedroom lateral apartment. Situated in a popular Edwardian mansion block, the property benefits from a bespoke eat-in kitchen and a large reception room with private balcony. Cabbell Street is in a prime location, with Edgware Road, Marylebone and Paddington stations all within walking distance.

If you are thinking about buying or selling in the Paddington area, contact our Little Venice office for more information.

Bond Street

Our next stop is Bond Street, perfect for those living in Marylebone and Mayfair. The ultimate urban village, Marylebone residents enjoy a peaceful corner within the hustle and bustle of Central London. Rich both in cultural heritage and modern luxury, properties range from the Georgian buildings of Marylebone village to new residential developments such as Marylebone Square and 98 Baker Street.

Paul Sulkin, Senior Sales Manager, says that many are drawn to Marylebone for the relaxed and friendly atmosphere:

“Although Marylebone is extremely central, it maintains that ‘village’ feel; you only have to walk down Chiltern Street, with its myriad of independent shops, to sense this. Marylebone Lane has a delightful café culture and an Ivy Café, as well as many other restaurants and bars. Soho and Covent Garden are an easy stroll away and there are good connections to Heathrow Airport.”

With world-class retail, vast green spaces and outstanding schools on their doorstep, Marylebone and Mayfair are at heart of the very best London has to offer. The introduction of the Elizabeth Line only adds to their city-wide connectivity.

New Cavendish Street, W1G

Located just off Marylebone High Street is this beautifully refurbished first floor apartment. Overlooking New Cavendish Street, the property features herringbone flooring, marble tiled bathrooms and three double bedrooms. Apartments of this calibre are extremely rare in Marylebone.

If you are thinking about buying or selling in the Marylebone-Mayfair area, contact our joint office for more information.

Whitechapel

Our final stop brings us to East London. Whitechapel already has great connectivity, but the introduction of the Elizabeth Line will vastly improve journey times to Central and West London.

Neighbouring Shoreditch is arguably the creative hub of the capital. Once a highly industrial area, Shoreditch has since transformed itself into a trendy, affluent spot famed for its creativity and unique atmosphere. There are a variety of homes throughout the area, from warehouse conversions to high-rise apartment complexes. The Elizabeth Line from Whitechapel will be a welcomed addition for the large community of young professionals commuting to the City, undoubtedly increasing the area’s popularity even more.

Gibraltar Walk, E2

This stylish, four storey Victorian warehouse conversion is set on a quiet side street and has been maintained to a lovely standard throughout. The property boasts a wealth of natural light and character, with double height ceilings, original wooden floors and exposed whitewash brickwork. Gibraltar Walk is just moments from Brick Lane and Shoreditch.

Our Camden office offers residential sales and letting services throughout the East London area, from Finsbury to Canary Wharf. For all your East London property needs, contact us by clicking here.
