Press Release: Estate Agent of the Year 2016

Marsh & Parsons landed a hat trick of prizes at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards 2016, in association with The Times and The Sunday Times.

As well as being recognised as UK Estate Agent of the Year, Marsh & Parsons also gained recognition as the Best Large UK Estate Agent and scooped bronze in the Best Marketing category.

This is the second time that Marsh & Parsons have achieved the top honour at the awards, having already been named Estate Agency of the Year in 2010.

The judges cited its focus on service, quality of communication and general expertise as some of the main reasons Marsh & Parsons stood out from its peers, with mystery shopping exercises and extensive research helping the panel arrive at their decision.

Marsh & Parsons have long helped overseas buyers realise their property aspirations in the capital and their excellent relocation services drew special praise from the judges.

In the Large Estate Agency category, judges referenced Marsh & Parsons’ transparency and the fact it has managed to retain its personal touch even as it has grown.

The marketing campaign was considered “clever, witty and intelligent,” with the judges appreciating the wordplay involved in the adverts, stating that “it made [them] smile”.

David Brown, CEO of Marsh & Parsons, comments: “We are rightly proud of the business we have built at Marsh & Parsons, so it’s always rewarding when the internal pride we have is acknowledged by our customers and external judging panels. We have always complemented our strong heritage with constant innovation to give our customers exactly what they are looking for. The London we serve in 2016 is unrecognisable from the city we first catered for back in 1856, but putting the customer at the heart of everything we do has always served us well and will continue to do so for the next century and beyond.”
