Best of 2018: Sales

As part of our ‘Best of 2018’ series, we’ve compiled a list of what we believe were our best sales of the year. Despite a challenging market at times, our 30 offices around London delivered exceptional results for their clients, as reflected in the 206 positive reviews we received from buyers and sellers last year.

Netherford Road, SW4 – £1,175,000
Clapham office

After an unsuccessful marketing period with another agent, we were instructed to sell this superb four-bedroom family home. Within two weeks we had attracted two competing offers at full asking price and exchanged contracts less than six weeks later. Needless to say, the vendor was extremely happy!

Clarkson Street, E2 – £475,000
Shoreditch office

Once the vendor had instructed us to sell this split-level two-bedroom apartment, we organised an ‘Open House’ event. The day was a success and we attracted competing offers from two buyers, eventually agreeing the sale £16,500 above asking price. We exchanged contracts shortly afterwards and the vendor left us a glowing Feefo review:

Holland Park office

Launched to the market in mid-May, we attracted an asking price offer for this stunning five-bedroom property within a week, much to our client’s delight. Boasting direct access to the beautiful communal gardens, the buyers were thrilled with their new home.

Esmond Road, NW6 – £675,000
Queen’s Park office

After several unsuccessful months on the market with another local agent, we were instructed to sell this bright, two-bedroom period conversion. Our client was delighted when we generated a full asking price offer on the first day of marketing – on the first viewing!

Wellesley Road, W4 – £1,575,000
Chiswick office

Following two unsuccessful years on the market with various agents in Chiswick, the vendor of this characterful four-bedroom detached property instructed our recently opened Chiswick office. We attracted a high volume of viewings and agreed a sale just below asking price, exchanging contracts six weeks later.

Deanhill Court, SW14 – £535,000
East Sheen office

We were instructed to sell this spacious two-bedroom apartment at the end of March and quickly got to work, generating 24 viewings in just four weeks. Within a month, we had an excellent offer which was £40,000 higher than the 2018 sale price of an identical flat in the building. The vendors happily accepted this, and we exchanged contracts shortly afterwards.
