The parents and teachers at William Tyndale Primary School in Islington are committed to the success of the Family & Staff Association (F&SA). The organisation has been at the heart of the school community for over 25 years and, as well as raising money for the school, encourages parents to socialise in a relaxed setting and gain a deeper understanding of their child’s school life.

Our partnership with the school began in 2019 and involved supporting the two largest events in the F&SA’s fundraising calendar: the Summer Fair and the Quiz Night. Our first William Tyndale Summer Fair was a great success and we gave out hundreds of goodie bags. It was great to have the opportunity to get to know the parents while the children waited to get their face painted. We even had our moment in the limelight when we handed out the star raffle prize (donated by Marsh & Parsons) to the lucky winners.

We received such a warm welcome at the summer fair that we were very excited to return to the school to help organise the Quiz Night. This was an adults-only event so a wonderful chance for parents and teachers to wind down and put their general knowledge to the test. We turned up with enough cupcakes to go around and our team rolled up their sleeves to play bartenders for the evening. As Marsh & Parsons had donated the prizes, it was only right that we also marked the quiz papers and presented the winning team with their champagne.
