Estate Agents in Clapham

Marsh & Parsons Clapham Estate Agents is located in the heart of Clapham Old Town, and our Clapham office offers experienced sales and lettings teams.

Clapham boasts a mix of property dating back to the 17th Century but more typically has buildings from the Victorian era with Victorian School conversions being especially popular and with an increasingly rising rental market, Victorian flat conversions are also in high demand.

Renowned for an eclectic mix of shops, bars and restaurants aimed at a typically youthful population, Clapham also benefits from The Common offering a bustling green space with a fabulous selection of activities, concerts and festivals to keep the locals occupied.

Clapham offers an excellent variety of transport links with the Northern Line running through to the West End and The City, an overland station running directly to Victoria and London Bridge, buses directly into The West End also and the A3 allowing access to the West.

Thomas Crabtree

Thomas Crabtree - Regional Sales Director of South, North & East London

Born in the hospital where The Latitude building now stands in Clapham South, Thomas spent his early years living 'between the commons' and going to school at the King's Avenue Primary School. Thomas graduated from university in 1997, and then went on to travel the Far East and Africa for a number of years, teaching English along the way. On his return, Thomas settled back into Clapham, working initially in the City and then in 2004 moved into estate agency, gaining a few years of experience before joining Marsh & Parsons in 2006 as the Clapham Old Town Sales Manager. In 2011, Thomas was promoted to Associate Director of Marsh & Parsons, and 2016 saw Tom take over as Regional Sales Director for South, North and East London.

His favourite street is Turret Grove SW4, which offers a selection of beautiful houses, all slightly different from one another - a unique feature in London. When the sun is shining, Thomas enjoys a drink in the Sun Inn, a popular pub located opposite our Clapham Old Town office and also enjoys taking his children to the swings on Windmill Drive, where he too had played as child.

"Marsh & Parsons' at Clapham Old Town made the whole process of selling relatively stress free due to the company’s considerate and positive approach. The marketing of our property was highly professional leading to many viewings and several offers not long after our property was marketed...I would absolutely recommend this firm." - A Clapham Seller

Alex Philo

Alex Philo - Sales Manager

After graduating from the University of Exeter in 2003, Alex moved to the city to pursue a career in London property. Alex has since worked extensively across London, having been based in Chelsea, Streatham, Tooting and Balham before becoming sales manager in Clapham. Alex loves the area for its vibrant mixture of young professionals and families, along with the fabulous green spaces and exceptional schools that Clapham has to offer.

In his spare time, Alex enjoys dining at No. 32 The Old Town and can often be seen cycling past the beautiful family houses of Lillieshall Road on the way to his favourite pub, The Bobbin.

Georgie Woodhouse

Georgie Woodhouse - Associate Director & Lettings Manager

After graduating in 2008 from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Media, English & Sociology, Georgie moved to London to work for a PR firm in Kensington. Two years later, she joined Marsh & Parsons to start a career in estate agency. Georgie, who is a local resident herself, is now the manager of the Clapham Lettings office.
Georgie particularly loves the Old Town, with her favourite houses being those on Macaulay Road. She loves the vibrant feel of Clapham, with its eclectic mix of people, green open spaces and rich history. And the fact that central London is just 20 minutes away! Georgie loves to spend time horse riding, as well as catching up with friends over a drink - The Jam Tree pub being a particular favourite. She also highly recommends The Calf on Rectory Grove SW4 for their fantastic Sunday Roasts!
A recent landlord said this about Georgie:

"Georgie Woodhouse was amazing to deal with as were all the team in the Clapham branch"
