In the community: Christmas round-up
Fri 22 Dec 2017
Engaging with and supporting our local communities is at the heart of Marsh & Parsons’ ethos. For over ten years, we have built strong relationships with many local schools, charities and organisations.
As ever, December was the busiest month for our Community Engagement team; we raised almost £6,000 by organising and supporting 14 events and taking part in fundraising initiatives for Save The Children, Crisis at Christmas, Barons Court Project and Royal Trinity Hospice.
Ranging from school Christmas fairs to community light switch-ons, carol services, charity parties and even a Christmas treasure hunt, we certainly had an eventful few weeks:
1,300 cups of mulled wine
1,000 mince pies
27 Christmas trees, wreaths and garlands
14 events including:
7 School Christmas fairs
4 Christmas lights events
3 Carolers hired
3 Community Christmas parties
2 face-painters hired
1 Christmas carols service, and
1 Christmas recital
(and a partridge in a pear tree...)
We’re thrilled to have been able to offer support to so many community organisations and local groups and now look forward to planning our calendar of events for 2018 across our London network.
