Marsh & Parsons to sponsor St Josephs RC Primary Schools Auction

Marsh & Parsons is proud to be supporting the St Josephs RC Primary School's Auction of Promises for the first time.
This will take place at the school on Lanark Road, Maida Vale, W9, on Saturday 21st May. Doors open at 6pm and the auction will commence at 7.30pm.The evening aims to bring together the local community to help raise valuable funds for the school, which will be spent on new computers for the IT suite and maintaining the schools two teacher system. The auction has been running for more than 15 years, and raised more than 60,000 in 2010.Some of the standout 'Promises' going under the hammer so far include week long holidays in Croatia, Portugal, Venice, Cannes or La Tenuta in Tuscany alongside a guided personal tour of Coronation Street, and a framed and signed England football shirt. Peter Rollings, CEO of Marsh & Parsons, commented: "We are always pleased to help support the local area, and St Josephs is certainly a cornerstone of the community in Maida Vale. The auction sounds like a fantastic idea to raise much needed funds and foster community spirit, and we jumped at the chance to offer our financial support to the event."

St Joseph's RC Primary School St. Josephs Roman Catholic Primary School (Lanark Road, Sutherland Avenue, Maida Vale, W9 1DF), has been named Outstanding by Ofsted. Founded in 1959, it has earned a reputation for high expectations and academic excellence and has pioneered the use of two teachers in classrooms. It is one of the highest ranked primary schools in Westminster.
The school raised a record total in its 2010 auction. A total of more than 60,000 was raised at the annual event, which has now been running for 15 years. Over 600 items in total were auctioned off at the event, which was attended by some 300 people.
