Metro: A bargain Buy In Belgravia ? Yep, Really...
Tue 27 Oct 2015
It's not often that a home in Belgravia is termed a 'steal', but this is an accurate description of one that changed hands recently.
The five-bed house with a roof terrace (far right), a swimming pool (inset) and gym, and parking for three cars was once on the market at 16.95million, but, after being placed in receivership, was acquired by property agency Brooks Marshall on behalf of a private client for half this figure.
Basement squash courts, helipads, panic rooms and car galleries for Ferraris these are just a few of the purchasing pre-requisites of London's super-rich homebuyers that estate agent Marsh & Parsons have fielded recently. Staff quarters and swimming pools also came high up most wish-lists.
