Marsh and Parsons to open more branches by Christmas
Mon 04 Aug 2014
London-based agency Marsh & Parsons clearly made some serious hay while the sun shone in H1. Interim results released by owner LSL show that M&Ps revenue in H1 increased by 19% to 16.1m (up from 13.5m in 2013), driven by sales and lettings growth of 16% and 22% respectively. Operating profit increased by 20% to 3.2m (up from 2.6m in 2013) despite the hefty costs of a new branch opening programme. One new offering has launched in 2014 so far; a shiny new office on Askew Road, Shepherds Bush, which has been trading "in line with expectations". It sounds like the plan is to open another three branches before the end of the year.
