Estate agent Marsh & Parsons has hired Charles Holland from GVA as its new director of residential development and investment.
Holland, who is expected to start in early October, is tasked with growing a multi-disciplinary development and investment department, including new homes.
The development teams focus will be on residential-led development across London, providing consultancy and agency advice to clients throughout the development lifecycle.
Holland was previously a director at Jones Lang LaSalle, and more recently a director at GVA.
Peter Rollings, chief executive of Marsh and Parsons, said: I am delighted to have such an able and respected property professional joining us to build this department. Marsh & Parsons is a rapidly growing business with 19 offices in south, west and central London and identifying an individual to lead this department has been top of my list of priorities for a while.
As always, finding the right people for the role is crucial and in Charles, I know I have found someone who is capable of building a great business.
Holland added: When Marsh & Parsons approached me for the role, I realised at once the opportunity presented by such a well-respected property brand and could see also the gap in their service offering.
