Graham and Green, 4 Elgin Crescent W11, 020 7243 8908
Graham and Green opened their first shop in Notting Hill in 1974, and have since expanded from humble beginnings to a delightfully identifiable British establishment. It truly is a fantastic interior design shop, perfect for decorating your new home.

James Bond Fans! Ian Fleming named one of his most famous characters after the designer of W10's Trellick Tower on Golbourne Road. After and argument with Erno Goldfinger over the pre-war demolition of cottages in Hampstead, that were removed to make way for Goldfinger's house, he felt it fitting to name one of his most notorious cirminal masterminds, Auric Goldfinger, after him.

SOPHIE GASS, 135 Portland Road, W11, 020 7229 8331
Keeping it close to home- one of our newest neighbours is the smart new Sophie Gass salon, offering manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, massages and all manner of earthly delights at the beautifully refurbished No. 4 Ladbroke Grove. They even offer men's treatments for the more metrosexual among us; agents form an orderly queue.

I'm planning some early Christmas shopping this year and I'll definitely head to Westbourne Grove, which is bursting with unique and exclusive boutiques - a much more enjoyable shopping experience than battling the West End crowds. There is also a superb selection of independent cafs and delis, providing the perfect pit-stops.
