The Negotiator: National Estate Agency of the Year
Fri 01 Feb 2013
National Estate Agency of the Year
Winner: Marsh & Parsons
Had you entered the Negotiator Awards before this year?
What made you decide to enter?
Firstly, we wanted to wn! Furthermore, I (Peter Rollings) am proud of the serice we provide and the results we achieve and wanted to benchmark ourselves against some of the best agents around.
How long did it take to complete your entry?
We entered four separate awards and it took 2 -3 days per submission to put together.
Were you 'confident' or even 'sure' that you would win - or was it a complete surprise?
We were reasonably confident as we felt that both the submisions and the content of each was strong.
What were your feelings on the night when your name was announced as a winner?
We were of course delighted! If I'm honest I was very hopeful of winning one of the other awards and was disappointed when we didn't. However, the main award of the evening obviously more than made up for it!
How did your staff react to the news?
They were (and are) very proud to have been recognised as the best.
Have you issued a press release about your success?
Yes we have!
Have you already incorporated your 'win' into your marketing materials?
Yes - we have a campaign ongoing at present.
What benefits do you believe the accolade will bring you?
It supports our existing brand campaign and we think the accolade will create a point of difference between us and our peers - and lead to more business.
Would you recommend other agents to enter The Negotiator Awards?
If they have the time and resources, yes.
Will you enter the 2013 Awards?
Yes. However, we will probably enter fewer categories
