With so many agents to choose from, why would Marsh & Parsons be your first choice?
Here are some reasons.
Local know how: Better results
We like to think of ourselves as a large collection of integrated small businesses, each having an intimate knowledge of its local area. Why is that important? Time and time again we have found that 'Local Know How' is the difference between us winning or losing out on your behalf.
We work around you, not the other way round
It's a common grumble that our industry is so reliant on you, but only open when you're at work. At Marsh & Parsons we realise that many of our prospective clients can't always drop everything to come and see a property. That's why we're open until 7pm during the week and up until 4pm on a Saturday making sure that we don't miss you!
PS. We'll do our very best to accommodate you, even if it means making appointments outside normal working hours.
Daring to be different
Of course we know that, as estate agents, we're second only to politicians and traffic wardens in the popularity stakes, and it's easy to fall into that cliché. If we are going to change your mind we need to challenge your perception of us with the experience you receive. We strive to make your experience with us successful, professional and – above all – enjoyable. We want you to see the weakness of our industry as one of our strengths.
We don't employ 'types'
The old proverb is that 'there is no substitute for experience'. That's why we don't just employ graduates, give them a flashy car and expect them to chase commission. In our experience this only leads to you becoming frustrated with their lack of knowledge and leads to a high staff turnover. Likewise, we are not an antiquated establishment, we employ real people that do real jobs, with the sensitivity to work with you and not waste your time.
Location, location, location
If that's the advice we give to you, it's important that we apply it to ourselves. We currently have twelve bustling offices in prime sites concentrated in Central, South and West London. Our coverage in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea is second to none with six offices in Kensington, Chelsea, Notting Hill, Bayswater, Holland Park and North Kensington and with our Fulham and Brook Green offices in such close proximity to the Royal Borough it means your property will get noticed. The same can be said for the visibility of our offices south of the river covering Battersea, Clapham, Balham and Barnes with excellent sites and impressive surroundings.
Style and substance
Even though we have been established since the reign of Queen Victoria, contemporary marketing is at the heart of our business. From branding to advertising, from how our offices look to the brochures we produce, we are investing more in this aspect of our business than ever before. The benefits are higher visibility and greater results for both us and our clients.
Trustworthy – because we have to be!
Unlike many estate agents, Marsh & Parsons are regulated by ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents) and the industries top watchdog The 'Ombudsman'. When it comes to our staff, we favour qualities AND qualifications.
One stop shop
They say experience grows with age. At the ripe old age of 150 we've learnt quite a bit about most aspects of property – and not just selling and renting it! We also specialise in:
meaning that we can be your one-stop-shop for 'all things property'.
Advertising? We've got it covered!
We've got Central, South and West London covered with more offices in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea than any other agent, so when it comes to advertising our coverage is second to none! Whereas lots of agents are forced to spread their advertising pounds thinly over the whole of London and/or the country, Marsh & Parsons pour their advertising pounds in to the publications that count – the ones the locals read. As well as national newspapers such as Sunday Times, we regularly advertise our clients' property in 'The London Magazine', 'Westside', 'The Hill', 'London Lettings', 'London Property News', 'Property Review', 'The Grove', 'SW Magazine', 'Resident', Property Square', 'Rise', 'Conde Nast' (Vogue, Tatler, GQ and House & Garden) and weekly newspapers including 'Move-to' and 'The Evening Standard'. We also appreciate the importance of online exposure advertising on Primelocation, Propertyfinder, Findaproperty, Rightmove, Email4property, Homes24, Hotproperty – the list is growing. And with a new interactive text service attached to our boards, we really are one step ahead with providing a service that gives you the coverage you deserve.
