Marsh & Parsons Notting Hill Estate Agents located on The Kensington Park Road has recently doubled in size, creating what we believe, to be one of the most iconic, best-situated estate agent offices in west London. The expanding office in Notting Hill now houses the lettings team as well as the Corporate & Relocation Services department, who were both previously based just around the corner on Notting Hill Gate.

Notting Hill is synonymous now with style, food and fashion there is nowhere in London that compares to it. Westbourne Grove and the Portobello Road are at the crossroads of an eclectic mix of designer boutiques, interiors and antique shops, food and flower stalls, bars and restaurants - something for everyone!

So, who can you expect to deal with at the Notting Hill Gate office?

Kieth_Gorny_Sales_Director_Marsh_and_ParsonsKeith Gorny, Director of Marsh & Parsons, and Sales Manager of the Notting Hill office

Keith started in Estate Agency shortly after graduating from Exeter University in 1993. Having spent a couple of years working in a well known estate agency's Chiswick office he transferred to their Notting Hill operation where he oversaw house sales, spending several years developing their Notting Hill business. During this time Keith enjoyed the different challenges of working through the market’s tremendous capital growth of the late nineties, the dot com bust, the Russian Currency crisis and the transformation of Notting Hill into the world renowned location it is today. He later went on to set up and run a successful W2 office based in the new West End Quay development. Joining Marsh & Parsons in 2005, Keith became a Director and equity partner and is responsible for the success of what is now, both Notting Hill and Holland Park's largest and most successful Estate Agency branches.

Keith has lived in and around Notting Hill for over fifteen years having first discovered the area whilst hunting for paintings along a very different Westbourne Grove during a Gap year spent as an art dealer in the late 1980's. A love for dining out and the area’s fantastic restaurants insures that Keith can frequently be spotted plodding around Hyde Park in an attempt to stay trim.

Gareth-Kelly-notting-hill-gate-sales-valuerGareth Kelly, Sales Valuer of the Notting Hill Office

Gareth's property career started in Dublin in 2004, with Marsh & Parsons' sister agency Sherry FitzGerald, who are regarded as Ireland’s biggest and most successful estate agents. In 2007, he embarked on his London career, applying his skills as an experienced sales negotiator to become the Sales Valuer of the Marsh & Parsons Notting Hill Gate branch.

Working alongside Keith Gorny, Gareth has contributed to the success of one of Notting Hill's most established estate agencies. He loves the style of property in Notting Hill and Holland Park, his favourite being those found on Pembridge Square, W11 and Addison Road, W14. Gareth is a keen sportsman, and also fluent in Spanish, having spent three and a half years teaching English in Spain, before becoming an estate agent.

Ruth-Harrington-notting-hill-officeRuth Harrington, Senior Lettings Manager, Notting Hill office

Originally from Lancashire, Ruth moved to London in 2002, following a degree in European studies & French at Northumbria University. She worked for EMAP publishing house, before moving into estate agency a year later. Ruth joined Marsh & Parsons in 2005, joining Peter Rollings, whom she had previously worked with and has since been responsible for running the incredibly successful Notting Hill lettings office.

Ruth has lived in West London for over 7 years now, and considers herself lucky to work in one of London’s most vibrant areas. She looks forward to the occasional trip to Elgin Crescent, just around the corner from our office, where she enjoys a look around the popular boutiques. Ruth loves the daily challenge of dealing with people from all walks of life in Notting Hill, and if she could choose to live anywhere in London, she would move to one of the ”pretty pink” houses on Lonsdale Road, W11.

Archie-Orr-Ewing-lettings-valuer-notting-hill-officeArchie Orr-Ewing, Lettings Valuer, Notting Hill office

Born and bred in West London, Archie graduated from university in 2003 with a degree in English. He moved straight into the property industry, working in the sales team of a popular West London agent. Before joining Marsh & Parsons in 2006, Archie took a career break, to travel through Asia and Australasia, qualifying as a diving instructor on his way. He started as a sales negotiator in the North Kensington branch of Marsh & Parsons and in 2008 took the brave step of moving into the lettings market, making him the first Marsh & Parsons employee to successfully “switch codes” between sales and lettings. Taking a promotion in 2009, Archie is now the Notting Hill Lettings Valuer, helping Ruth Harrington to manage one of the largest portfolios of rental property in the Notting Hill area.

Archie is a keen musician, playing both the clarinet and saxophone, and enjoys all varieties of live music, whether he is at the Royal Opera House, or a summer festival. He also has a passion for travel and photography, and on a Saturday, Archie loves to go to the famous Portobello Road. His favourite street in W11 is Kensington Park Gardens, the broadest road at the top of Notting Hill flanked by beautiful communal gardens and leading to the elegant St John’s Church.

If you would like to speak to Ruth or Archie from our Notting Hill office, regarding the letting of your property, then please feel free to get in touch on any of the contact details above.

matt_salvidge_Head_Of_Corp_WEBMatthew Salvidge, Head of Corporate & Relocation Services

After graduating with a degree in Marketing & Advertising in 2005, Matthew spent a year living in Australia, before joining a large London based estate agent to work in their Corporate Services Department. In 2009, he sought a new challenge and brought his wealth of experience to the Marsh & Parsons Corporate & Relocation Services Department, dealing with the executive property search for hundreds of companies and individuals.

Working in the Notting Hill office, Matthew is close to the West End and The City, but his job helping clients relocate means that he is also in direct communication with people from all over the world. His most enjoyable type of property request comes from production companies looking for both location shoots, and accommodation for crew. They always have very specific requirements – but when you see the property on television, it's really rewarding.

He describes London as having a heart that is “always beating”; there’s always something different and exciting to do, whether it’s a meal out, a visit to one of the many markets, a live show or even a sporting event – you can fill your calendar for the next few years, and not do the same thing twice.

Matthew can be contacted on the phone number above, or emailed at corporate@marshandparsons.co.uk
