Marsh & Parsons North Kensington Estate Agents is situated where Notting Hill meets Notting Dale. This busy office deals with the attractive Edwardian family houses and flats of the leafy St Quintin conservation area, the buzzing and fashionably cutting edge of the north end of Portobello Road and the Golborne Market, and substantial and elegant Victorian villas round Ladbroke Grove as well as increasingly popular Queens Park and Kensal Green.

With easy access to the M40 or the West End and City and with plenty of pretty tree lined streets this is a vibrant area, attractive to young and old alike.

So, who can you expect to deal with at the Lancaster Road office in North Kensington?

Matt_Biggadike_North_Kensington_Sales_Manager_WEBMatt Biggadike, Associate Director and Sales Manager of the North Kensington Office

On finishing his education, Matt worked with several country houses in the Lake District and Surrey, working as a sommelier. Deciding that he wanted a faster pace of life, he moved to London, initially working as sommelier for Gary Rhodes, but a few years later in 1996, started his property career in estate agency. Working for a local estate agent in Notting Hill for seven years, Matt joined Marsh & Parsons in 2005, appointed as the sales manager of the North Kensington office, which also extends into some areas of W11, Kensal Rise and Queen’s Park. In 2011, Matt was promoted to Associate Director of Marsh & Parsons.
Matt’s favourite street is Bassett Road, a very desirable street in W10 – particularly because of the beautiful period properties that sit on this tree lined road. On occasion, Matt will enjoy a drink in The Westbourne on Westbourne Park Road, and when he isn’t spending time with his two young sons, Matt also likes to go bike riding or running in the park.

Archie_OrrEwing_lettings_manager_north_kensingtonArchie Orr-Ewing, Lettings Manager of the North Kensington office
Born and bred in West London, Archie graduated from university in 2003 with a degree in English. He moved straight into the property industry, working in the sales team of a popular West London agent. Before joining Marsh & Parsons in 2006, Archie took a career break, to travel through Asia and Australasia, qualifying as a diving instructor on his way. He started as a sales negotiator in the North Kensington branch of Marsh & Parsons and in 2008 took the brave step of moving into the lettings market, making him the first Marsh & Parsons employee to successfully “switch codes” between sales and lettings. After spending two years as a valuer in the Notting Hill office, Archie is now managing the busy lettings team back in North Kensington.
Archie is a keen musician, playing both the clarinet and saxophone, and enjoys all varieties of live music, whether he is at the Royal Opera House, or a summer festival. He also has a passion for travel and photography, and on a Saturday, often visits the famous Portobello Road. Archie loves the area surrounding North Kensington; his favourite houses are those on Bassett Road W10, where you’ll find a wide tree-lined street offering quiet tranquil living, whilst being just a short walk from the vibrant and lively atmosphere of Notting Hill.

If you would like to speak to either Matt or Archie from our North Kensington office, regarding the selling or letting of your property, then please feel free to get in touch on any of the contact details above.
