Laura Wilcox-Chandley, Sales Manager of the Balham & Clapham South Office

Laura, who studied at the Mander Portman Woodward School in Queensgate, London went on to graduate in 2002 with a degree in Politics, and a Masters in International Political Economy. Having spent a year travelling the world, Laura returned to London to join a well established estate agent in Mayfair, gaining five years experience of working in the central London property market. After a year working in Putney, West London, Laura joined the busy Balham office of Marsh & Parsons as the sales manager, and is also in the process of studying for a further Masters in Investment Property & Surveying.

Laura loves the rich diversity of working in the Balham and Clapham South area. There is such a variety of property and people to deal with, ranging from studios and one bedroom apartments, to the beautiful, Victorian family houses - with the Nightingale Triangle being her favourite place to sell property. The Balham team are spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out, however Laura’s favourite place for a quick bite is Harrison’s on Bedford Hill – a lovely, intimate restaurant, focusing on modern British brasserie food.

Nichola Snook, Lettings Manager of the Balham & Clapham South Office

Originally from West Sussex, Nichola studied Psychology at the University of Manchester, achieving a first class honours. She has a real passion for dealing with people and a genuine interest in property, so on moving to London, Nichola felt that estate agency was the perfect fit, where she now enjoys the daily challenges of the London lettings market. Having worked in our Balham office for two years, Nichola has a great knowledge of the local area with its great diversity of people looking for property to rent, ranging from shared student flats to large family homes.

Nichola loves the buzzing atmosphere of the Balham area and her favourite properties can be found in the Nightingale Triangle and Heaver Estate where the classic double-fronted houses on the wide tree-lined streets make perfect homes for families and couples alike. As well as the excellent transport links in and around Balham, Nichola loves the proximity to the open spaces of the Common and as a keen tennis player she can often be found at Clapham Common tennis courts at weekends.
