I hope you are well?  Now that the flats have finally been sold I just wanted to send you a quick email to thank you for the excellent support you have given us over the years as the property manager.  In particular your handling of the water leak on a Friday evening of a bank holiday weekend was exceptional in that you enabled me to remain as calm as possible!!

We are quite sad to have sold the flats but it has enabled us to buy our 'dream' house in Devon, which finally completes on 12 Dec.

I just wanted to drop a quick e-mail to you regarding Iona Kerr about what a positive experience I have had dealing with her – from the moment that I gave my notice on my flat last year to getting a new flat this month.  She has been professional, methodical and given clear guidance – a total breath of fresh air in your industry.  She is a shining light in your organisation…Iona should be praised in any upcoming appraisal/bonus round etc.

We just wanted to thank you for a variety of reasons.

1. Always being on hand (I think that’s called “responsive” in business jargon) to reply to our concerns and queries promptly.

2. Very knowledgeable about the rights of both tenants and landlords and thus we feel we can rely on you to give us accurate advice.

3. You appear to be on “our side” and you act as very effective barrier between us and the tenants – which is why we wanted our property to be managed in the first place.

4. People skills! You are also pleasant to deal with. I know it seems basic but we value having a rapport with you. It is nicer to work with people we like and feel like we know.

5. You sorted out the rent for us very effectively. They – the tenants - were always late with their rent or missed payments before you took over Townmead Road. This is the most important aspect of any landlord and tenant agreement.  You were delightfully tough with the miscreant who arrived last summer and got him to pay his rent on his credit card.

I would like to say that I have been impressed by your professionalism in managing the property. The service you provide to Landlords looked to me to be really complete and reliable. Seeing your property management I started considering the option of buy-to-rent.

Thanks very much for your email. This is very professional from you, and it is the first time that I have received such an email, even though I had been dealing for many years with property letting companies!!! Well done!!

I have found my experience of letting the flat through M&P first class.  The flat has been let fully, with only very short void periods, since purchase.  Equally as important M&P have found tenants quickly in the marketing period.

I feel that Jane really understands us and our requirements.  As a result I am very impressed with the way she has dealt with this latest letting.  As a landlord I have always felt that Jane has looked after us and our interests.  Her friendly manner has made the whole process painless and very straightforward.

On the management side I rate James as outstanding.  He is friendly, professional and very efficient and effective.  I have dealt with a number of property managers from other firms over the past ten years and James stands out as being in a different league.  I trust him completely with the day to day management and also with larger projects such a redecoration, change of boiler etc etc.  I have always felt that the communication between Jane and Sylvie and James has been excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending M&P to family and friends.
