Press Release: Marsh & Parsons to sponsor the Barnes Charity Fashion Show

Wednesday, 07 September 2011

Marsh & Parsons is proud to be sponsoring the first ever Barnes Charity Fashion Show this September.

The show will be hosted by Zac Goldsmith, the local MP for Richmond Park.  The evening will also feature a performance from London jazz singer Carron Dawn Wright, who will be co-hosting the show.

The event takes place on the 29th September at St Mary’s Church, Church Road, Barnes at 7pm, beginning with entertainment from Carron Dawn Wright before the show.

The Fashion Show will showcase the latest collections from Barnes' local boutiques, and aims to raise money for three local charities -  The Barn Elms Sports Trust, the Castelnau Community Centre, and The Friends of St. Mary’s Barnes.

Peter Rollings, chief executive of Marsh & Parsons, said "We jumped at the opportunity to help out. These three charities do wonderful work for the community, and we are glad to be able to help their fundraising efforts so that they might continue their important role in the local area. But the event is also an opportunity to showcase the talent of Barnes' boutiques and bring the community together. We are proud to be offering our support and are sure the show will be a roaring success."
