Battersea Tour
Battersea is home to many wonderful and intriguing sights, and is steeped in history. This hour long tour will explore the Northcote Road, where you will find out about one of London's lost rivers, and then to the old Arding & Hobbs department store, where you'll learn about a famous poet who fell asleep and got locked in for a weekend. You'll also find out interesting facts about Battersea Rise, Bolingbroke Grove and Wandsworth Common.
On route, don't forget to pop into our office on Northcote Road to pick up your free frisbee, and visit our partner cafe, Gail's at 64 Northcote Road, SW11 6QL for a complimentary cup of tea and a sweet treat.
Along the way, you will have an opportunity to experience what the current Debenhams store would've looked like over 100 years ago, using an old library photo. Click here to download the picture.
