"Asking prices have risen steadily in London, underpinned by strong demand from buyers and a shortage of properties for sale, and the rest of the country is starting to follow the capital’s lead. But, as the forces of supply and demand dictate, it may not be one-way traffic for London house prices for the remainder of the year. Rising prices will encourage more homeowners to put their properties on the market over the coming months and we can expect prices in London to level off later this year."
