Press Release: SW11 Literary Festival 2009

Marsh & Parsons is pleased to announce the line-up of fantastic authors taking part in this year's SW11 Literary Festival! This series of literary events, runs each year throughout the month of September - with the launch being held on the 7th September. The Festival welcomes a huge selection of wonderful authors and is hosted in a variety of venues around the Borough, including the well-known BAC theatre on Lavender Hill and the famous Battersea Power Station. Organised by the Clapham Junction Town Centre Partnership (Wandsworth Borough Council) in conjunction with Waterstones and proudly sponsored by Marsh & Parsons, the SW11 Literary Festival is a highlight of the year in Battersea.

The Festival offers everyone the opportunity to meet well known authors and the chance to discover new ones, at book signings and readings all over SW11. Visitors are invited to attend workshops, to sharpen their own writing talent, there are children's author events, foodie events, a poetry event, plus a hugely popular literary quiz and a recipe competition too!

To buy tickets for these events, visit Waterstones on St John's Road (Battersea) or pick up a Program of Events and fill in the form attached. Please note - all events last year were hugely over-subscribed, so do get your tickets early to avoid disappointment! Tickets will go on sale from early August 09.

Taking place at venues all around SW11 - including the BAC Theatre (Lavender Hill) and the Battersea Power Station.
