My first video blog. A brief summary of the London property market

I’ve been contemplating the idea of doing a video blog for some time, but the very thought of it has made me cringe. I can think of some dreadful, even toe curling attempts at doing personal videos (you know the ones I mean, casually sitting on the edge of a desk with cheesy smile!) and for that reason I have been wary of embracing this new form of communication.

That was until we started doing video property tours, and it made me think, if it can work for property then surely it can work for communicating property news and I must say, I am pleasantly surprised at what we have produced on our first attempt. The real test however, is what the public think. Are people going to watch? Are they interested in what I say? Is video really the future of blogging? Whatever the answers to these questions are, I do hope you enjoy the video and I would love to hear any thoughts/feedback/recommendations you may have (Good or bad!).

Hi Peter, I think that Video blogs are a great idea. Due to the incredible increase in blogs, email, instant messages, Facebook updates, Tweets and SMS, I often feel bombarded with text to read. Sitting back, watching and listening is not only light relief, but the the inevitable convergence of TV with the Internet (this is why we have always preached that .tv domain names would out number .com addresses in the future!) I look forward to watching your next episode (could be longer, perhaps including some more actual stats taken directly from your Google Analytics data to help support your comments and surpress any doubters). Overall, good effort and it's great to see M&P leading the way, as always! Regards Ben smilies/wink.gif

video posting is really good key factor for international buyers. But it is not working very much for UK buyers. Because of market knowledge and other lot of information available in the market. Video blogging good for portals but not for agents side.
